Along the structure, like sprouts, the tower will count ten observation decks, two of those are meant to resemble the Hanging Gardens of Babylon, one of the world seven Wonders. The top observation deck, the Pinnacle Room, will offer a 360degree view on the city, while rotating balconies will offer different views.

The ‘stems’ of the lily function as a supporting structure while the cables grounding the tower to the earth resemble lily’s leaves.

The tower will be an iconic structure combining more traditional reference with a modern and sustainable design. As a matter of fact, the tower will include a cooling system and the water collected by the system will clean the structure’s façade. Elegant landscaping and vegetation will screen the façade from the sun, along with an integrated shading system.

Finally, at night, the flower will blossom and shine in all its features into Dubai’s landscape.

For the tower DCH Calatrava won the middle East Architect award 2016.
