If you look back the city has been built from scratch and within two decades it has been transformed as one of the most advanced cities in the world. Be it magnificent skyscrapers, amazing manmade island, shopping malls and so much more which are a creation in itself. When we look at all this development in Dubai one thing which is common in all of them is a smart use of technology and optimum utilization of available resources.

Dubai has always set benchmarks for other countries and cities to try out something new and believe in creating right value systems for the coming generation. It is not only about infrastructure but to everything possible so that a strong and robust system can be created for the nation /city. Dubai is now gearing up to host EXPO 2020 which will be a festival of human ingenuity where participants from all over the world will showcase their strength in terms of everything possible to bring business and fuel their economy.

As the Expo 2020 comes near preparations are in full swing and the focus remains to add a new chapter in the development of Dubai for its long term future. This six-month long exhibition of trade, innovations, and products from all over the world will be held on a yet to be built 438-hectare site on the edge of Dubai. Initial development of the 4.38 square kilometer site in the South of Dubai began in September 2015. As per the latest update reports from the site, more than 4.7 million cubic meters of the earth has been recycled and moved for the construction to begin.

The Expo report which has been published post the detailed coverage of the site preparation and outlined partnership with organizations, businesses and youth states that all the infrastructure work will be finished by October 2019. Testing of the site will start one year before Expo 2020 starts in October 2020 with an expectancy of 25 million visitors over six months of the event. This highly anticipated Expo 2020 village Dh 1.3 billion project is expected to be completed by April 2018. Currently, designs of the pavilions are being finalized and it would be an attraction in itself.

One thing is sure here about this project that architecture, construction companies will make the best use of available resources and would turn this project into a dream come true for Dubai.
